FMC Youth Hockey

 

Hockey Step 1

Hockey Step 1 is for skaters age 5 and up with no formal skating experience or instruction. This class introduces participants to hockey skating in a fun, group setting.

 

Hockey Skating Development

For participants who have mastered the elements of Hockey Step 1, or, participants who have permission from the Program Director and wish to play hockey. This class focuses on skating mechanics, power and balance. In addition, it will introduce stick skills. Full equipment, less neck guard, mouth guard and shoulder pads, is required.  In addition, it will introduce stick skills.

 

Bruins FUNdamentals

For participants who have mastered the elements of Hockey Skating Development, Bruins FUNdamentals incorporates fundamental hockey skills and drills and provides an introduction to game concepts and advanced skating. Full equipment is required.

 

FMC House League

For skaters ages 5-15 who have completed a Learn to Play program or have approval from the Program Director. FMC’s House league provides an excellent opportunity for players of all skill levels to grow and improve their skills. The house league offers a team approach to learning in a low-pressure recreational setting. Skaters will focus on individual skills, game concepts, and teamwork while promoting a fun and rewarding environment.  

Players will have one practice and one game per week. Jersey included. 

 

Learn to Play Cross Ice

For skaters ages 5-15 who have completed a Learn to Play program or have approval from the Program Director. Cross Ice play provides an excellent opportunity for players of all skill levels to learn game concepts and creativity in a pressure free fun environment. This program provides a rewarding team experience while emphasizing fun and fostering a love for the game of hockey!

 

PreTeen/Teen Learn to Play Hockey

For ages 11 to 17. Previous skating experience is recommended. This is a skills-based class designed for players with little to no hockey experience that will focus on developing basic hockey fundamentals and introducing game concepts.

Tryouts: March & April | Season: April-August

Program Details:The New England Future Stars League is a  competitive and skilled program designed for youth hockey players who want to take their game to the next level. Features All-Star and Championship Weekends.

$45 Tryout Fee | $699 per player | $399 Goalies
